Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience IT experience development, testing, and project management. Required 5 Years Working with Java/J2EE. Required 5 Years Experience defining systems and application architecture. Required 3 Years ORACLE, MS SQL Server and/or DB2 experience. Required 3 Years ORACLE development experience that includes writing complex SQL and PL/SQL, and doing performance tuning. Required 2 YearsStrong oral and written communication skills. Required Working with geospatial mapping technology. Desired 1 YearsWorking with Crystal Reports. Desired 2 YearsWorking with IBM RSA development IDE preferred. Desired 1 YearsWorking with IBM Rational JAZZ RTC. Desired 1 YearsThe position primarily serves as an Application Architect working for PennDOT at The Keystone Building in Harrisburg, PA, Team Lead and Senior J2EE Developer in PennDOT’s Bureau of Business Solutions & Services. The incumbent will be responsible for design and development of the Pennsylvania Crash Information Tool. PCIT is a web application that provides access to Pennsylvania crash data including displays such as data tables, bar charts, pie graphs, and maps. This J2EE application uses Java/Java Script, and displays the data from ORACLE as well as some data from DB2.
