Java/J2EE Developer in Miami – Immediate opening

SMRC is looking for a Java EE Developer to support a federal project in Miami, Florida. US Citizens only. Previous work at NOAA is highly desired but not required

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications.
• Use Java programming language and related software development technologies such as Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE), JavaServer Pages (JSP)/Servlets, or JavaServer Faces (JSF).
• Experience with Java/Javascript frameworks such as Spring, jQuery and others
• Serve as technical expert on development projects.
• Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
• Analyze/Debug code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Consult with end-user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
• Experience with Vaadin framework is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity to operating in a Continuous Integration environment.

What experience do you have experience with mobile development technology?

With regards to mobile development, do they have any experience writing mobile applications that can run both online and offline?

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.00 to $75.00 /hour
