They will have worked as part of a team that leverages modern architectures and agile development practices.Responsibilities: The role is responsible for the web portal enhancements, configuration and development activities.The role requires extensive experience in the application development using Java andLiferayportal.The role also requires analytical and conceptual thinking, integration and problem solving skills.Expertise in web portal and web application development inLiferay.Analytical and conceptual thinking – ability to analyze the requirements and propose best solutions.Essential Skills: 3+ Years of experience with Java/J2EE.2+ Years of experience withLiferay6.2.Working experience ofLiferay7 is required (6 months to 1 year).Hands on development and design ofLiferayapplication.Must have skills to handle delivery pressure.Good Knowledge on OSGI modules and Integration.At least one major client-side JavaScript framework (Angular, Backbone, Meteor, Bootstrap, etc.)Strong Spring based web application development experience is required.Good understanding on the salient features ofLiferay7 over 6 and DXP over 7 is required.Good understanding of Oracle PL/SQL and / or database conceptsIdeally, the candidate should have experience in administration ofLiferayportal server.Strong experience of Web application design and development end-to-end i.e. full stack developer.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Desirable Skills: Knowledge of equities and/or prime brokerage / securities finance a plusKnowledge of the trade lifecycle (Trading, Middle Office, Settlements) a plusMobile development experience is a plusKnowledge of NoSQL database systems is a plusUnderstanding of messaging middleware and patterns (MQ,Tibco,etc.)Close to 1 year of solid experience withLiferayversion 7Is plus.Preferable experience inLiferayDXP is plus.Knowledge of Apache Tomcat,JBoss, Web Sphere Configuration Management.Knowledge of web sphere IDE/Tools- Eclipse, Net Beans, ANT, Maven Technologies.Knowledge on UI/Frontenddesign isplus.Experience with Scrum, Agile methodology’s and good documentation skills.User Interface development with HTML5.0, XML, CSS3.0, JS, AJAX, JSON.
