Deloitte Consulting LLP is seeking a Java Developer to join our US Delivery Center to provide the ongoing maintenance/operations and enhancement related JAVA development work remotely to our clients. Responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing requirement and working on detailed design for new changes.
• Analyzing and fixing production issues
• Development and Unit testing new changes
• Updating system documentation

Not only will candidates be joining a project team, they will be joining a team of resources dedicated to delivering client engagements from an off-site location focused on common tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Required Skills :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience required

0 – 3 years of experience in JEE technology development

Experience with building and deploying J2EE applications

0 – 3 years of experience with J2EE Framework components such as Servlets, JSP, EJB, JDBC, Logging mechanism (ex. Log4J), Transaction Management and Thread Management

0 – 3 years of experience with designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer)

0 – 3 years of experience writing SQL/Functions/Procedures in transactional database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2

0- 3 years of knowledge on MVC framework like Spring/Struts/Grails and ORM tools such as Hibernate, MyBatis

Good understanding of developing Web-services

Understanding of build and deployment process and tools like Maven, ANT /Cruise Control

Good understanding of HTML UI, CSS and Javascript

Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem-solving

Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles

Hands-on programming experience

Experience working in a production support environment

Good knowledge of SDLC process including testing process

Willing to live and work in the Orlando, FL area

Ability to travel up to 15 percent, if applicable

Preferred Skills :
U.S. Citizenship preferred, but not required

Ability and willingness to acquire U.S. Security Clearance preferred, but not required

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to perform code reviews

Experience using source version control system such SVN, CVS, GIT
