Java Developer

We are looking for a Java Programmer Analyst with knowledge of the processes involved in detailed analysis, estimating, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining Java based business applications . Requires collaborating with clients and/or business analysts remote and at client sites to understand and translate business processes and requirements into formal, documented technical requirements. Programmer / analysts are expected to produce on time deliverables with minimal rework and reported issues. Professionalism, strong analytical, organization /prioritization, oral and written communications skills are required.

Job Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

• BS Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 2+ years experience working in Java
• J2EE/Java, SQL, Subversion, Eclipse IDE, relational databases, various XML and data transformation technologies
• Web development experience (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a customer facing role
• Strong Object Oriented Analysis/Design/Programming a MUST
• Must be able to move within and across different technologies

PHYSICAL ABILITY :

• Able to read instructions, reports and information on computer screens and to key information on computer

AVAILABILITY :

• Able to collaborate with clients and/or business analysts remotely
• Able to travel to client sites based on need

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE :

• VB6, .NET framework (Desktop applications) a strong plus

JOB KNOWLEDGE :

• Successful understanding and translation of business processes and requirements into formal, documented technical requirements
• Able to successfully produce on time deliverables with minimal rework and reported issues
