OVERVIEW

Sonny’s Carwash Controls Division, located in Tamarac, Florida, is looking for software developers that must be passionate about their work and dedicated to creating software that is simple for our end users, yet robust in benefits and features. Our company has developed robust, Software as a Service (SAAS) applications that have been experiencing rapid growth based on our unique market position, strategy and direction.

We are looking for a great JavaScript Developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, additional hours as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing new user-facing features using React.js
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment, working with the project from specification to user acceptance.
  • Must be able to adhere to programming and development schedules, customer requirements, tactical and strategic product goals.
  • Must be self-motivated and extremely reliable.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software release stages and requirements
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical Skills:

    • o 5+ years of JavaScript development

    o Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

    o Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

    o Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

    o Experience with newer specifications of EcmaScript

    o Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

    o Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

    o Experience with RESTful APIs

    o Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

    o Familiar with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

    o Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

    o Experience with NodeJS

    o Experience with code versioning tools such as Git

    o Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

    o A knack for benchmarking and optimization

  • Additional Desired Skills:

    • o Experience with Linux

    o Experience with PHP

    o Developed having CentOS as a server environment

    o Knowledge of Jenkins

    Working Conditions: Inside office environment.

    Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility.

    Education and Formal Training:

    o B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

    Desired Experience:

  • 5+ years of JavaScript development
  • 3+ years React.js
  • Experience with different source/revision control methodologies, such as GIT
  • Scalability / Redundancy / High volume environments
