OVERVIEW

The SAP Systems Manager will be responsible for the operational support of the SAP platform and will report into the President. Provide vision, direction, and definition of SAP activities and priorities. Drive closure of open tickets. Provide overall project leadership overall all SAP projects and initiatives company-wide.

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, additional hours as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet regularly with business and other IT users/analysts/developers, interpreting requirements and implementing systems based solutions with a consistent focus on excellent customer service
  • Plan and manage major and minor system upgrades
  • Work with users to analyze/configure/tailor security and access levels to supported applications
  • Support multiple layers of an n-tier architecture environment including cluster and database support
  • Provides input to solution development plans and concept documents to ensure all plans are in compliance with overall company SAP vision
  • Monitor and tune systems to maximize system performance
  • Design and implement effective monitoring of enterprise systems
  • Overall project management for all projects involving SAP
  • Foresee risks and communicates and mitigates those before problems arise
  • Oversees technical design documentation and procedures for team library
  • Communicate technology effectively to all levels of associate
  • Manage/enforce all stages of the System Development Life Cycle
  • Manage all SAP contractors and employees
  • Manage the SAP Steering Team meetings and document minutes / actions
  • REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical Knowledge –
  • o Understanding of SAP Netweaver 7, ECC 6, CRM 7, MDM, Solution or the capability to experience with other systems and the ability to learn the essentials of SAP

    Working Conditions: Inside office environment.

    Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility.

    Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field is preferred
