Java Developer

• * 3-5 Java years’ experience (not looking for a senior level resource)
• Must have experience writing web based services (not consumer)
• ASAP start – 6-month contract
• Responsibilities: Will be working within the Natural Gas Energy Management department building applications which helps automate the scheduling process
• Prior EDI experience is a BIG plus

Job Summary:
Develops and implements Java-based Internet applications. May be responsible for design, architecture, and testing. Trouble-shoots issues and problems, and debugs coding issues. Performs work under general supervision.
Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree, and 2 to 4 years of experience.
