JAVA Developer

This person will need to be ready to work in a fast paced environment, where titles don’t matter, good ideas can come from anywhere, and they aren’t afraid to take risks. They are located in Overland Park.

The Java Developer will collaborate with Product Management and other Engineers to design, develop, and maintain network device integration, management and reporting software. Primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining object-oriented, multi-tiered systems using Java/J2EE and other development platforms.

What’s Needed

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.

5+ years of OO development using multiple languages, including 3 plus years of Java/J2EE technology experience including Spring framework.

Extremely strong core Java coding skills, including an understanding of optimization, performance ramifications of coding decisions and object-oriented design

Experience with and working knowledge of: Hibernate/JPA, SQL, JUnit, DBUnit, Maven, JAXB, XML/XSLT, RESTful web services and log4j preferred
