Java Developer

JOB SUMMARY

TEAM is a leading provider of payroll and business affairs services to the advertising and entertainment industries. The ideal candidate has excellent Java development and analytical skills. This is a position that requires initiative and a pro-active approach to problem-solving, tasks, responsibilities and working with colleagues. The Java Developer will provide input for detail technical designs, development and implementation of code to meet requirement and technical specifications. Discretion in handling company and client information is required, along with professional ethics, appearance, and conduct.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications to support the business
• Participate in full life cycle of the project
• Design and develop user interfacesapplications and conduct unit testing to ensure high quality, bug free code
• Participate in requirements gathering, estimating, and code review sessions
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
• Must have solid understanding of Object Oriented programming

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• 3-5 Years programming experience required
• JAVA, JSP, OOP, SQL, JDBC, and Boostrap front-end framework required
• Knowledge of STRUTS, WEBSPHERE, J2EE, DB2, IBM AS400, JDE a plus
• Knowledge of government and entertainment industry payroll requirements a plus
• Angular JS a plus

CREDENTIALS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• College graduate with B.S. in Computer Science or similar area of study, or 3-5 years related work experience
