Java Developer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Design and create awesome code, working closely with other team members.

• Get things done. Takes ownership of moderately complex tasks and drives them to completion

• Help break down and provides estimates for assigned tasks

• Excellent understanding of testing strategies to deliver quality software.

• Continuously acts to enhance knowledge of new technologies, development processes.

Required:

• 5+ years of software development in Java & J2EE and the use of those technologies in n-tier development environments

• Experience applying OOP principles

• Experience applying design principles and patterns

• Experience with TCP/UDP sockets

• Experience with asynchronous messaging

• Experience with MVC frameworks preferably SpringMVC Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience with Linux servers

• Experience using Git

• Experience with IntelliJ and Junit

• Experienced with UML diagramming

• Experience with Gradle and Maven

• Experience with .Net 4+

Additional:

• Experience with SQL databases

• Experience with NoSQL databases
