JAVA Applications Developer

As a Java Applic ation Developer you will build effective tools and infrastructure to test complex, large-scale distributed systems. You will work with developers and quality analysts to defined and develop new features on the test automation framework as well as build other tools to support the Quality Assurance teams. Ultimately ensuring that testing is made more efficient, streamlined, and robust overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements and use cases. Propose solutions to meet the requirements

Collaborate with others to accomplish project tasks

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

Write, modify, and debug software used in applications and integrations with internal and third party applications

Help maintain code quality and organization

Deliver code that is unit-tested, of high-quality, reusable, and maintainable

Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about business applications and/or technical software

Determine accurate level of effort required and manages task schedules for assigned projects

Analyzes, defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and interfaces with other systems that are internal or external

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or High School Diploma/ GED with 4+ years of JAVA Programming experience

2+ year of Hands-on experience with Java

2+ years of writing complex database queries

1+ years of scripting experience

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

Familiar with various design patterns

Experience with writing reusable Java libraries

Familiarity with concepts of JDBC

Ability to write clean, readable Java code

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Experience with build tools such as Ant, Maven, or Gradle

Experience with continuous integration

Preferred Requirements:
Experience with Healthcare and Pharmacy Benefits Management systems is a plus

JAVA/ Certification

Selenium Automation Experience

Oracle Java SE Programmer Certification
