Software Engineering professionals work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Accenture or our clients.

Job Description

Industry Applications-HPS professionals design, implement and deploy packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate unique HEALTH and PUBLIC SERVICES industry business and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business needs.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Analyzes and solves problems that are lower complexity and may be routine in nature, requiring varied responses depending on the situation.

Interacts with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors. Likely has some interactions with non-management levels at the client and/or within Accenture.

Receives minimal instruction on daily work tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments .

Decisions impact own work and may impact the work of others.

Individual contributor and/or oversees a small work effort and/or team.

Participation in requirement analysis, participating in Technical design process by applying industry standard Java J2EE design patterns.

Understanding the technical design documents and design patterns provided by Lead

Expert level knowledge in Java J2EE technologies such as Core Java 1.6 or later , Spring 3.x, MVC frameworks, JPA frameworks, Web Services SOAP, REST , Messaging frameworks Active MQ or Web Sphere MQ , XML, XSLT, Ajax, Web Technologies Node JS, JQuery, HTML5, Web 2.0, CSS etc. Strong coding skills, debugging, unit testing, providing test support, and installation support of applications in accordance with specific internal procedures and standards.

Willing to learn new technologies and apply them per business requirement to improve the efficiency

Experience working with Application Servers such as Weblogic, WebSphere

Experience working with Oracle, MS SQL Databases

Able to prioritize and making adjustments as needed

Well versed with Waterfall Basic Qualifications

3+ years of Java/JVM enterprise application development experience

Technical degree or equivalent

Ability to travel if work demands
