This role will sit at
the cutting edge of driving innovation and change for over 200 million Asurion

test, learn, and scale new and exciting products to our global organization.

the overall company direction.

The Content and Web
Developer works within the Innovation Team and is responsible for creating
content, web development, and delivering multimedia needs for the team. This
includes designing, developing, coding, and modifying websites and creating
content for the site, blog, email campaigns, and more. The Content and Web
Developer will also be responsible for standing up multiple pages and content
types to run A/B tests for effectiveness.

What does a typical
day look like?

• Creates, writes, edits, publishes, and updates all
  public content including but not limited to website copy, FAQs, self-help
  articles, newsletters, blog posts, visuals, and more.
• Design, build, maintain, and modify multiple websites,
  landing pages, and web forms
• Provide expertise on web standards and best practices
  in design and usability
• Maintains positive working relationships with
  Innovation Team as well as with cross-functional teams
• Perform
  other duties as may be required or necessary

What you need to be able
to do:

• Research, write, and edit original website, blog, and
  digital copy
• Ability to develop copy for SEO purposes
• Ability to provide thoughts on original content ideas
  that will help support thought leadership positioning, provide a good user
  experience, engage readers, and build excitement and a sense of community
• Ability to write about complex ideas in a simple yet
  thought-provoking way
• Develop and implement policies to maintain the desired
  look, feel and functionality of the public site(s)
• Develop content and copy for campaigns and user
  engagements purposes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in OR equivalent experience in Web
  Design, Computer Science, Communications, or Marketing
• 4+ years of content and/or communications experience
• Develop and design media using Adobe Premiere Pro,
  Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Flash and Adobe
  Dreamweaver
• Proficiency with WordPress as well as common APIs
  (Mailchimp, Zendesk, Intercom, etc.)
