Primary Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate business requirements and prepare functional, technical, and quality specifications for Business Intelligence Data Consumption projects using Agile software development best practices
  • Perform data analysis to define business rules, using in-depth knowledge of databases and healthcare data
  • Serve as the liaison between business and systems analysts, developers and project management groups
  • Develop detailed source-to-target data mapping and data transformation rules
  • Utilize emerging technology and tools to enhance BI Data Consumption (Talend, Hadoop/MapR, Sqoop, Hive, Java, Unix-shell scripting, SQL, Tableau, Datameer, Power BI)

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in systems analysis or IT Development
  • 2+ years of exposure to all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) /System Development Life Cycle
  • 2+ years of experience translating business requirements into a detailed system specification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Health care experience
  • Experience working with test plans and test cases
  • Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
  • Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with Agile methodology
