IT Support Technician

IT professional with experience in report writing, database maintenance, and application testing to support the department’s IT modernization efforts, specifically in the areas of report development, dashboard design, data quality, and application maintenance.

The candidate will need to possess good oral and written communication skills in order to work with staff to complete projects in a timely and professional manner. Work requests will be directed by the project manager who will also review the work products

To support the project, the candidate will need knowledge and experience in report writing using T-SQL, Linq, MS Access, and MS Excel; some knowledge of database development and maintenance, specifically in MS SQL Server; experience in application testing, including the development and execution of testing plans; basic development and maintenance experience of ASP.NET applications with some exposure to MVC, Entity Framework, and Linq. Additional responsibilities will include:

Performing data migration from legacy to new systems and ensuring data quality of the selected datasets,

advising County on the latest ETL, BI, and reporting technologies and development practices,

contributing to County’s application development and best practices documentation.
