IT Support Specialist
Mission

The IT Support Specialist professional serves as a technical expert and participates in and oversees a variety of analytical and technical assignments that provide for problem diagnosis and solutions, documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware, software, and network products in the IT technology infrastructure environment. This position requires a demonstrated ability to act as a single point of contact for assigned incidents and service requests. The specialist will be responsible for managing tickets in our ticketing system and attaining the SLA as well as providing first and second line troubleshooting of IT related problems from software to hardware. Can take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner. Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction. The employee performs a range of professional assignments. Independent judgment is required to carry out assignments that have significant impact on services or programs service for all support queries. Will be required to document support information and resolutions for knowledge base. Participate in tasks and projects with a global team collaboratively.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or educational equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar position/role
  • Experience in a global IT role a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years’ vendor management experience
  • ITIL certification (preferred)
  • Availability to travel, >5%
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge supporting Microsoft products Windows 7/10, Office 365, Intune, SCCM and Apple Products, iOS and OS X. Minimum 4 years.
