The work you’ll do

In this role you will answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone calls or self-service tickets for assistance through analysis and problem resolving on a wide range of hardware, software, networking, other computer-related technologies.

  • Record and classify received Incidents and undertake an immediate effort in order to restore a failed IT Service at the earliest
  • Provide first-line investigation and diagnosis of all Incidents and Service Requests
  • Keep users informed about their Incidents’ status at agreed intervals
  • Owns all Incidents and Service Requests throughout the life-cycle

  • The Team

    Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

    Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years’ experience with IT development solutions
  • Knowledge in development methodologies specific to Agile and Scrum
  • Ability to use solutions such as JIRA and or Confluence
  • Provide support on requests while working directly with client and triaging requests to appropriate level support teammates
  • Monitor, update, and manage service desk requests in accordance with Service Level agreement requirements
  • Handle case management, change requests, case assignments and reporting
  • Preferred skills will include automation scripting skills such as: Python, Bash, Perl, Ansible or similar solutions
  • Ability to work on shift schedule and flexibility to work any shift as needed
  • Must live in or be able to relocate to Lake Mary, FL area
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% (while 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
