As an IT Solutions Analyst at Micron, you will collaborate with others to ensure the value of our data visualization and exploration tool (Tableau). You will collaborate with vendors, vendor development team, BI Advocacy Manager and business users, worldwide IT peers and stakeholders, IT architects, business stakeholders, to identify creative and stabile visualization solutions to the business problems. As a Tableau Solutions Analyst you will need to understand the ins-and-out of the Tableau environment, architecture, tool tips/tricks and hacks. You will assist the Technology Advocacy Manager to build the roadmap for the tool and its adoption and be the key technical resource in accomplishing the roadmap objectives and deliverables. You will coach business users, third-party contractors and vendors on the use of the tool. As a subject matter expert, you will also act as the escalation point for system performance issues, failure and continuous improvement efforts. As a member of the BI Tool advocacy team, you will help drive the version evaluations, technical analysis, problem investigation and root cause analysis for systemic issues.

What we are looking for:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficiency with BI Reporting Tools
• Experience developing reports and dashboards
• Experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Servers
• Tableau Server Administration Skills are required
• Good understanding of data warehouse, data modeling concepts
• Experience in Windows administration
• Experience with relational databases (Teradata, MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Relocation assistance will be offered to the right candidate

Minimal travel required (2 – 3 international trips per year)
