IT – Junior IT Enterprise Application Analyst (CON)

Purpose:

The Jr. Enterprise Application Analyst is a critical extension of the project team in relation to the application needs and works closely with business partners and IT to understand end-to-end business processes and impacts of existing and new technologies.
Develops and refines business process models (e.g. current state vs. future state) and performs business process analysis and redesign using established tools. Reviews and updates existing business processes and creates new business processes to align with
TSW Enterprise Application by mapping existing business processes to core and customized functionality. Recommends and assists with the definition/creation of timelines and implementation of process changes within Bluegreen. Works with impacted stakeholders
to identify and create business processes (those that have not been documented and mapped). Assists with other areas of process change not limited to but including: SOX narratives, standard operating procedures, process flows, requirements documents, UAT materials,
etc.

Required to perform business analysis by gathering, clarifying, researching, analyzing and documenting requirements as elicited from our partners for use within the various stages of the project management and SDLC lifecycles.

Must coordinate communication and collaboration amongst internal and external business and technical resources in order to derive technical and functional solutions to address both tactical and strategic objectives.

Assist with training for business processes, work on process improvements and suggest process improvements techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business partners/stakeholders within the company to complete necessary tasks related to producing complete and comprehensive process documentation

• Devise or modify processes to solve complex problems

• Ability to identify dependencies and create risk mitigation plans

• Create documentation associated with implementations to include policies, standard operating procedures, process mappings, gap findings, meeting agendas and minutes, and research findings

• Maintains project library utilizing MS Sharepoint and IBM Blue Works Live and ensure updates are performed in a timely manner to facilitate effective communication and research. Manages tracking and version control of all documents to ensure operational efficiency

• Manage and document all changes identified through process modeling

• Ensure documentation standards are appropriate for executive level presentation and review

• Create and maintain project logs (Risk and Issues, Action Item and Parking Lot); follows up and ensures timely response for activities.

• Tailor documents (messaging and format) as applicable for the audience receiving them

• Coordinate with the team to determine information release schedule and make recommendations on the form of delivery

• Participate in the review of ongoing materials prior to release for editing and required changes

• Obtain a baseline understanding of new functionality and business processes, other departments and associated documentation and collateral

• Participates in the development of presentations, detailed project status reports and executive updates.

• Communicate documentation, results, processes or other material appropriately to internal stakeholders and external vendors, clients or other parties

• Assist with testing, end-user documentation and application training. May coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing

• Develop and maintain good working relations with both internal and external business partners

• Understanding of project management principles and best practices

• Assist other analysts in identifying solutions to complex business problems

• May be designated as the primary business analyst for the project work-stream/module

• May perform other duties/tasks as requested

2 year college degree in computer science/information system or a related field

0-2 years as a business analyst or documentation specialist

• Business process re-engineering

• Facilitate discussions between cross functional teams during business blueprinting, application configuration and implementation activities.

• Project Management Lifecycle; traditional and agile methodologies

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Sharepoint)

• Exposure to IBM Blue Works Live

• Experience coordinating large to enterprise size projects

• Travel and Hospitality experience desired, but not required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and partners

• Strong attention to detail

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Professional attitude and work ethic, ability to work as independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision

• Creative problem solver, with the flexibility to learn new technology quickly

• Organizational skills
