IT Help Desk Technician

DESCRIPTION

  • Will provide IT help desk and customer monitoring services Monday thru Friday.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Monitor customer networks via Web portal and generate tickets as required
  • Push software updates as per customer IT policy
  • Routes tickets to applicable technician
  • Helps maintain service ticketing system
  • Provide remote diagnosis and problem resolution for computers
  • Maintain customer software inventory

EXPERIENCE

  • Prefer 1 year experience in IT Help Desk environment
  • Troubleshoot and repair Microsoft Windows based computers
  • Ability to setup email client such as Outlook
  • Ability to setup computer with access to Internet

EDUCATION

The following are education and certification requirements.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

The following are preferred education and certification levels.

Graduation from a two-year college or technical school majoring in Network Administration or Information Systems

  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Must have a valid Texas drivers license and maintain current auto insurance as required by the state of Texas
  • Must maintain required dress code
