IT Director

Responsibilities:
DDL OMNI Engineering is seeking a hands-on IT Director to manage the continued growth of our communications and network infrastructure. DDL OMNI has made a significant investment in its corporate network infrastructure and is committed to maintaining and improving this important corporate asset.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated technical professional with extensive hands-on experience managing a mixed Windows and Linux environment. Must be able to understand the business needs of the company and translate those business needs into a robust, reliable and efficient network architecture. Must be well versed with current industry best practices and be able to apply these best practices to our environment. This position will require strong communication skills in addition to outstanding technical skills.

The candidate must have extensive experience supporting current versions of Microsoft enterprise applications including SQL Server, Exchange and IIS. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of current networking protocols and topologies and have experience with network infrastructure components such as switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS and routing protocols. The candidate must have operational business experience or demonstrate an aptitude for the adaption of business processes into information technology solutions.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have the ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance which requires US Citizenship.

Education Required: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience, IT Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc. desirable but not required.)

Experience and Skills Required: 8+ years’ experience with Windows system administration, particularly ActiveDirectory, Exchange 2013 and general Windows server administration. Strong practical knowledge of IT security concepts is required and experience with NIST SP 800-171 highly desirable. Working knowledge of Linux, routers, firewalls and IDS are all pluses. Must be U.S. citizen with current DoD security clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
