World Travel Holdings is seeking an experienced, passionate Scrum Master for its Home Based Division—Dream Vacations, CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. In this highly visible, fast-paced role, you will be responsible for working with our product owner and scrum teams to deliver software initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities:
Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refiningand managing the product backlog

Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style; lead by example and by personifying Scrum and Agile

Remove or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right resources

Encourage collaboration between Scrum Team and Product Owner

Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiate information

Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings

Monitor sprint task board, take steps to help team complete committed work, and communicate sprint burn-down or burn-up as required

Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged with an emphasis on healing and problem solving

Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of professional work experience as an IT Scrum Master or Project Manager

First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM)

Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Proven experience with facilitation, servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency

Ability to be on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of contexts (different team sizes, organizations, cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc…)
