Investment Portfolio Analyst

Job Summary:

The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the bank’s investment portfolio. Manages the bank’s liquidity.

Detailed Description:

• Manages investment decisions in compliance with bank policy and regulatory guidelines

• Works with bond salesman and brokers in optimizing investment purchases

• Understands and maximizes risk/return around asset liability and interest rate risk sensitivities

• Manages liquidity of bank by maximizing returns associated with on balance sheet liquidity while reducing risk and maintaining compliance with policy

• Manages Reg F for all due from bank deposits

• Prepares all purchase analytics, maintains credit review of BOLI, municipal bonds, etc.

• Attention to regulatory requirements and compliance training applicable to position (Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Information Privacy ETC)

• Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information are absolutely essential.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.

• Prior experience in managing and bank investment portfolio, making purchases and preparing purchase analysis

• Strong technical and analytical skills.

• Able to organize, coordinate, and direct projects.

• Solid oral and written communication abilities.
