Program Description:
The Investment Analyst position offers the chance to build analytical skills and expand knowledge of private capital investments in a three-year analyst program. In this position, the analyst works on a small deal team responsible for financial analysis, portfolio monitoring and marketing. In this position, analysts will have the opportunity to earn competitive pay and maintain a work/life balance, while learning about a variety of industries from large, multi-national companies to smaller, privately-held companies. Analysts learn about investing private placements of senior debt and investing junior capital, while gaining valuable experience that will apply to all financial industries. Many of our analysts move on to attend top business schools and have received a variety of opportunities within the industry at the close of the three-year Investment Analyst program.

The Primary responsibilities include:
Industry and company research

Comparable analysis

Financial modeling and credit analysis

Transaction and due diligence support

Portfolio and credit monitoring

Communication with portfolio companies

Prepare marketing materials Undergraduate degree with a BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or other quantitative subjects

Excellent analytical and accounting skills

Familiarity with the capital markets (knowledge of debt and equity security terms and valuation methodologies)

Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills

Business related experience preferred, but not required

Participation in the Chartered Financial Analysts® (CFA) program is a plus

Fluency in English and Spanish and/or Italian required.
