The Role:

The Financial Analyst, will provide dedicated analytical support to four Midwest business units encompassing roughly 25% of the US across fifteen states. The analyst will be responsible for providing both high level and detailed analysis, monthly forecast projections, assist in execution and deployment of annual budget and monthly / ad hoc reporting. We are looking for an individual who is both passionate about music and possesses a professional work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with local and corporate accounting / finance, booker, venue and operations teams for monthly forecast and reporting.
• Communicate with bookers, marketers, and event/venue managers to gauge event expectations.
• Monitor event ticket sales and local market conditions
• Arena partner tracking, share computations and splits
• Prepare monthly financial and statistical reports, as well as develop reporting enhancements.
• Assist booker with forecasts and analysis
• Commission, bonus, contract and other review and analysis
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Experience in financial / analytic role at large corporation preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with relational databases; Oracle and OLAP familiarity is a plus.
• Elevated pride of ownership regarding work product.
• Highly organized and a confident self-starter,
• Flair for figures and analytical problem solving.
• Manages well under pressure all while handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Healthy curiosity to understand all aspects of the business.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills allowing composed interactions with all levels.
