Brief Description of the Organization
CBNA is the primary legal entity for Citi, providing products and services to consumers, financial institutions and corporate clients around the world. In the past, Citi has provided most of its internal reporting on a business by business basis. With the changes in the regulatory environment, strong legal entity reporting and governance has become essential. This team is responsible for ensuring that CBNA has the appropriate governance and control infrastructure to meet the demand for legal entity planning, execution, information management and the ever-evolving regulatory environment.


Description of the Position

Under the supervision of the Citi Trust International Head of Investment Management Oversight, the Investment Analyst helps oversee the investment processes for international discretionary trust accounts and helps manage investment risk. The responsibilities of the position include the following:

  • Establishing the investment objectives for discretionary trusts
  • Determining the appropriate asset allocation and manager selection strategies
  • Performing periodic investment reviews, generating reports and presenting the results to senior management
  • Managing risk exposures in trust accounts
  • Reviewing and approving investment requests and proposals
  • Performing investment manager due diligence and ongoing monitoring
  • Preparing risk management reports for management and oversight committees.


Qualifications

  • 3 years of investment management experience with a focus on international trust/fiduciary management and open architecture for traditional and alternative investments, including manager research and due diligence.
  • Strong knowledge and proven technical proficiency in investment management, including experience executing securities transactions in global fixed income and equity markets.
  • Portfolio analytics skills, including competence using and explaining Monte Carlo simulation analysis.
  • Proven experience with international trust structures and strategies.
  • Prior private banking/high net worth client experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, and execute sound reasoning and judgment.
  • Strong communication skills are required to interact effectively with private bankers, clients and their advisors.
  • Proven presentation and organizational skills.
  • Excellent PC skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Spanish language skills helpful.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
