Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for preparing, analyzing, and delivering monthly financial statements (P&L) for our external partners. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly spot variances and/or medical cost trends. In addition, the position will liaison with external partners to address their questions and concerns. Strong intrapersonal skills and the ability to communicate analytical matters are essential.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Generate and analyze P&L and BCR statements. Analysis will include data validation and comparing current and previous month financials to identify and investigate variances using SQL.
  • Submit accurate and timely financials to our risk providers and follow up with any questions.
  • Proactively communicate with clients (internal/external), including our risk providers and network management team, about financial matters.
  • Create and maintain documentation on tasks/processes.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business, or related field.
  • 1 year of experience with finance or accounting
  • Detailed oriented with ability to analyze, report, and communicate data
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups)
  • Basic SQL Server experience including (writing queries)
