Sponsorship Interns

The Los Angeles Sparks are seeking sponsorship Interns who will report to the Vice President of Sponsorship.

The Los Angeles Sparks internship is part-time (3-4 days per week) and will allow students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience with a professional sports organization through hands on experience. The Sparks accept applications from students presently enrolled in a college program. Internships are unpaid and the students must be able to receive college credit.

The Sponsorship Interns will be responsible the following duties:

• Responsible for aiding and assisting in all aspects pertaining to support of the sponsorship sales and activation staff.
• Aggressively prospect new business opportunities across local, regional and national platforms
• Maintain a database of all sponsorship sales and outreach activity
• Assist in the creation and development of sales proposals and collateral
• Executing elements of secured sponsorships and activating on-site at sponsor’s events and on game days.
• Additional tasks and administrative duties as assigned
• Requirements:
• Must be at least a junior in an undergraduate program
• Major: Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Sport Management preferred
• Exciting, compelling written and oral presentation skills, Microsoft Office and Keynote skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong organization and project management skills
• Desire to succeed in a sponsorship sales and activation capacity
