You will become a part of Micron’s University Relations team and help us develop an exceptional college recruiting program in the USA. Our college recruiting strategy is based on successful execution of an internship program and this is where you will have a chance to demonstrate your excellent recruiting and program management skills. You will be responsible for developing a robust internship program for Micron North America and recruiting interns into various technical and non-technical roles across the company. This is a high visibility position for an ambitious, creative, and outgoing team player who is not intimidated by tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and public speaking. You will get to change lives of many students by introducing them to our amazing company.

Job Responsibilities

Manage end to end recruiting process for technical and non-technical intern candidates ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience

Collaborate with recruiters and client groups to understand their hiring needs and goals, and to build relevant branding for candidate pipelines

Serve as a "campus owner" for a number of target universities

Foster relationships with university staff, faculty, and student group leaders at targeted universities

Design creative ways to engage talent on campus and tailor this approach to different pipelines

Screen resumes and interview qualified candidates

Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers

Maintain data reports and performance metrics on a regular basis

Act as an internally and externally-facing representative of Micron and our University Relations team

Deliver on Micron diversity strategies and identify new opportunities to attract diversity candidates

Coordinate with University Relations stakeholders to develop annual schedules and activities at target universities

Manage the candidate workflow and communication for intern candidates

Onboard new interns

Organize various events for interns (team-building, tech talks, meetins with executives, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Psychology

Event management or facilitation experience

Understanding of college recruiting process and internship program best practices

Consultative qualities and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization as well as externally.

Industry knowledge, with ability to understand relevant technical skills, target engineering schools, conferences, and other student communities

Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Ability to travel domestically, up to 30%, during peak recruiting cycles
