Intern – Private Bank

SVB Private Bank provides banking and wealth advisory services to individuals who have strategic importance to the bank. These clients are typically either general partners at key venture capital or private equity firms, or are leaders (e.g. Founders, CEOs, CFOs) of high performing innovation companies. The Private Bank team improves the financial lives of technology professionals and investors by providing comprehensive and objective wealth advice, and banking solutions tailored to their unique needs.

• Data entry (Populating credit apps, loan submission docs, etc)
• CRM management (data integrity project)

• CRM opportunity submissions
• Scrub financial packages

• Fund research
• New acct request submissions
• Portfolio creation
• Pitchbook creation
• Portfolio rebalance
• Portfolio analysis (review risk class, benchmark, cash balance)
• Trade sheet submissions
• Tax analysis

• Candidates must be students currently enrolled in a college/university (Minimum Requirement)
• Candidate should have a minimum GPA of 3.3
• Seeking the following Majors: Finance, Econ, Math, Stats
• Seeking Undergrad students
• Preferred candidates should have work or academic experience with the following: basic accounting & familiarity with financial statements (e.g.. basic accounting, interest in Venture Capital etc.)
• Other: strong Excel skills preferred
