Function:

As an intern in the sensor development group,
you will work with micro-electronic ASICs which incorporate a custom sensor,
accompanying signal chains, a micro-controller and other subsystems.
Examples are CMOS image sensors, Time-Of-Flight sensors, etc.


Typical assignments might include:

• Help with design/layout of Analog IC Blocks
• Debug and validate product features and modes
• Debug boards and characterization setups
• Implement Verilog based simulation test cases or test-bench infrastructure
• Implement FPGA based prototypes using Verilog HDL and synthesis tools
• Improve engineering development processes by writing scripts / programs

Profile:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidates (Electrical Engineering or related majors)

Familiar with Cadence Virtuoso tools

Hands-on working experience in the lab and familiar with lab equipment

Familiar with and able to work with Verilog-A / Verilog-AMS

Able to program in languages such as Python and C

Familiar with Matlab and/or LabView is a plus

Able to communicate and document results and findings effectively

Fluency in English
