Integrated Logistics Planner – entry level – KC-46 Tanker Program

The KC-46 Japan Program is seeking an entry level 2 Integrated logistics Planner . The position supports the Seattle Derivatives Team of the Logistics Products and Services (LP&S) capability in Boeing Global Services. Primary focus will be the KC-46 Japan Program, but can be deployed to other military derivative programs as required. Candidate will be working as part of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) providing product support/logistics support for a military commercial derivative platform.

Responsibilities: Planning and Integration of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements between the key suppliers within Support and Training, the KC-46 Program, and our Japanese customers. Integration of the ILS support elements of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan CDRL deliverable and the proper communication and coordination of the support elements with our customers. Support multiple Statements of Work within the KC-46 Support & Training IPT. Work across multiple teams, functions, and with International customers. Integrate elements of ILS program activities to include support system analysis, spares, provisioning, technical data, support equipment, training, maintenance engineering/modifications, warranty, and facilities. Utilize engineering data sources/drawings to answer questions and solve issues. Develop support program plans and schedules, validate standard deliverables and support trade studies for platform subsystems. Research, document and provide technical information and support the establishment of processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure. Work with supplier data to analyze and integrate it into the KC-46 support system.

Bachelor’s degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires the capability to integrate elements of ILS program activities to include support system analysis, spares, provisioning, technical data, support equipment, training, maintenance engineering/modifications, warranty, and facilities.
  • Experience utilizing engineering data sources/drawings to answer questions and solve issues required.
  • Experience and fluency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Calendar, and PowerPoint required.
  • Requires the ability to travel 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working across multiple teams, functions, and with International customers is highly desired.
  • Previous experience with USAF maintenance concepts is desired.
  • Familiarity with using common Boeing tools such as: IPDM, TRACS, BORIS, REDARs, Vector, MET and My Boeing Fleet highly desired.
  • Prefer at least an elementary level of proficiency speaking and writing the Japanese language.
  • Prefer experience supporting Commercial Military Derivative aircraft and/or experience in military or commercial program support.
  • Prefer experience with KC-46 or 767 Products.
