Job Description

A: Must Skills –

Strong CA API Manager Administration WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus Administration IBM MQ Administration Linux Administration and Windows Server Administration. Ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues. Diagnostic tools – familiarity with tools used to troubleshoot issues with Java/distributed applications

B: Plus Skills –

Monitoring – familiarity with tools to monitor Mainframe, Windows and/or Linux servers. BASH, Perl, or other scripting skills. Mainframe, Java, and/or .net code development skills. Soft Skills: Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Good organizational skills Self-starter with good work ethic Able to work alone and in a team A willingness to ask questions and search for answers On-Call – The on-call rotation is once every 2 or 3 weeks. You are paid for hours worked fixing issues, but not for carrying the pager. No one is put into the on-call rotation until they are ready to be successful and this is by mutual agreement.

Detailed job responsibilities

Infrastructure and System Administrators provide the support and maintenance for one or more of the following technologies: Database, Server, Operating System, Network, Storage, Application Server technologies, Web server technologies, Development Tools, Electronic Data Management System, and Electronic Data Interchange. Comments for Suppliers: See attached document for details. Need one strong in CA API manager administration. also need skills in WSO2 ESB and IBM MQ Primary Skill: Middleware Administrator Assignment includes: 1. Administration of CA API Manager on Linux, WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus on Linux, and IBM MQ on Windows and zOS. 2. Troubleshooting application related issues both on mainframe and distributed environments. 3. Handle day-to-day requests for support. 4. Handle nightly on-call. 5. Additional duties may include assistance with the upgrades. Environment: Client uses CA API Manager, WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus, and IBM MQ for internal and external facing applications. The application portfolio includes homegrown, purchased and vendor applications. The environment is large and growing. There will be on-boarding process to get familiarized with client environment. This is a fast-paced and exciting environment to work in.
