As an Infrastructure Engineer in zulily, you will join us as a key member of the team and we will provide a good environment for you to grow and develop your current skill set and also learn new technologies. You’ll be integrated within the infrastructure team and work closely with other team members and members of the various development teams to ensure system reliability and performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years supporting Linux operating systems

• 2+ years Python programming experience (Go! a plus)

• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls and load balancers

• Experience with configuration management technologies (Salt, Chef, Puppet)

• Experience with highly virtualized environments and cloud technologies (GCE and AWS)

• Experience working with containerization (Kubernetes, Mesos, Dockers) a plus

• Experience working with various open source databases (MySQL, Redis, Mongodb, Elasticsearch) a plus

• Excellent time management, prioritization and muti-tasking skills

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or an Engineering related field is preferred.
