Industrial Designer/Project Manager

Work as a team member in the Engineering Department that provides technical support for manufacturing, sales and production of batching systems. Associates degree or higher in Industrial Processes or Machine Design. Use AutoCAD and/or Solid Works and Microsoft Office software – Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Proficient with or knowledge of Autodesk Inventor 2012 or later. Ability to gather information that my be needed to complete any assigned project or task. Able to read and understand manufacturing, structural construction and civil design plans. Must be comfortable and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced business environment with ongoing, and often competing, project deadlines. Ability to work independently, manage and finalize projects without direct supervision. Must work and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals from executives to shop production personnel in order to gather information. Compile and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects. Review drawings for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with cited specifications. Revise drawings and markups when necessary. Update and maintain drawings database log. Assist in filing and maintaining digital and hard copy drawings. Demonstrate willingness to work with others in a team environment. Use personal protection equipment properly. Work safely. Ability to multi-task and prioritize engineering projects and special assignments. Ability to travel.
