IBM Middleware Developer

Covestic is looking for Middleware Developers with experience building integration services and message translations using IBM Integration Bus and IBM DataPower. The project is part of a client’s ongoing expansion of integrated enterprise services.

Responsibilities:

• Define message flows and transactional routing logic between core business applications
• Configure message translation logic and attribute mappings using IBM Integration Bus
• Define and develop multiprotocol gateways and XML transformation logic using IBM DataPower
• Write message transformation logic using JavaCompute Node
• Conver existing SOAP services into RESTful web services
• Configure EDI maps in IBM Transformation Extender

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience creating message flows, transactional routing, and message translation logic in IBM Integration Bus
• Experience using JavaCompute Node (JCN) for transforming messages in IBM Integration Bus
• Experience mapping EDI data transformations using IBM Transformation Extender
• Experience converting SOAP web services into RESTful web services
• Understand AAA security protocols for controlling user access

Desired Skills :

• Experience authoring Korn Shell scripts
• 1+ year of experience configuring message gateways and XML mappings in IBM DataPower

Education:

• 4-year degree
