IBM iSeries Systems Engineer

Elign Consulting is hiring a IBM iSeries Systems Engineer in Minneapolis, MN.

Job Description:

Provide expert assistance in troubleshooting/upgrading hardware (IBM i 41a with iASP), operating system (OS/400 at v7r2), database (DB2) and backup/recovery (BRMS), for the client IBM iSeries infrastructure – two boxes (one back-office, one customer facing), along with their redundant boxes in a failover data center.

Work directly with client staff and IBM staff, coordinating with IBM when work could fall under our maintenance contracts there.
