IBM iSeries Analyst/Programmer

Elign Consulting is hiring a IBM iSeries Analyst/Programmer in Minneapolis, MN.

Job Description:

Perform business/systems analysis and programming for Auxiliary Services systems on an IBM iSeries. Programming could either be maintenance of an existing system or new development, written in CL, RPGIII, and RPGIV, and to a much lesser extent in Java or PHP.

Integrate and modify the purchased IBM iSeries packages of Kronos Timekeeper and J.D. Edwards World, security/integration utilities from Townsend, and change management from ARCAD, along with considerable internally developed systems. Most of the supported systems relate to the activities of time and labor, billing, payments, and reconciliation of interfaced data with client systems.

Work directly with clients on gathering requirements, and at times direct and test the work of (but not supervise) other programmers.
