Human Resources Coordinator

Sundance Catalog is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. Summary

We are seeking an individual to manage our company onboarding process and provide administrative support for the HR team. This person will be integral in creating and maintaining a positive onboarding experience for all employees from recruiting through new employee orientation. Will also be responsible for updating and maintaining employee files, both hard copy and electronic. This person will play a critical role in assisting to create, implement, and administer programs and initiatives that support our culture and growth. Responsibilities

The individual will work with other members of the HR team to perform the following responsibilities.

  • Manage onboarding process of all candidates once verbal offer has been made including preparation of offer letter, distribution and collection of employment paperwork, E-Verify administration, and conducting new hire orientation.
  • Monitor and review all returned employment documents for accuracy.
  • Conduct pre-employment screening including background checks.
  • Process personnel changes in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System), including new hires, onboarding, promotions, salary adjustments, transfers, terminations, and other personal information changes.
  • Maintain secured, organized and accurate files for employee documents.
  • Establish and maintain department records and reports.
  • Complete requests for employment information such as employment verifications, payroll verifications, unemployment requests, etc.
  • Assist employees with questions and/or concerns that pertain to wages, deductions, tax forms, benefits, etc.
  • Plan and participate in company functions and activities.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar role
  • Associate’s degree preferred but will consider equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PHR/SHRM-CP preferred
  • HRIS experience required, ADP experience strongly desired
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, effectively with employees at all levels
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and be able to handle sensitive HR issues and information effectively
  • Must have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented and remain focused in a fast-paced environment
