Human Resource Generalist – Systems Engineering

Systems Engineering is looking for a Human Resource Generalist to add to their dynamic, employee owned team. The HR Generalist will assist with recruiting, employee retention and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Creatively sourcing for prospective candidates to fill openings
• Develop job postings that articulately represent the companies needs
• Suggest and follow through with advertising opportunities that give a posting the best visibility
• Manage job postings and candidate follow up
• Work diligently to find the best talent
• Continuously research the best posting opportunities
• Keep up to date with state and federal regulations
• Screen resumes and handle candidate communication
• Develop phone screen and interview questions
• Phone screen candidates making recommendations for further consideration
• Coordinate the interview process with hiring managers as needed.
• Establish relationships with hiring managers to best advise them on recruiting and retention needs
• Assist with the development of an applicant tracking system
• Assist with training and development needs of employees
• Maintain organized and compliant employee filing systems
• Update employee manuals as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources/recruiting is required
• Must possess a proven record of accomplishment of creatively sourcing and prospecting for qualified candidates
• Professional office experience preferred
• Highly motivated and self-directed
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task
• Outstanding writing and communication skills
• Extremely professional and well-spoken
• Computer savvy with the ability to work efficiently
