HR Generalist – Miami, FL (Temp)

Oversees the implementation of Human Resources programs. Monitors administration to established standards and procedures

Provides exceptional customer service to employees/hiring managers and executes a positive attitude at all times.

Partners with all functional departments in the company to ensure proper handling of issues and concerns. Escalates issues to HR Director when appropriate.

  • Supports the Director of Human Resources and team with all phases of HR management and supports business needs and related programs.

Primary responsibilities include interpreting policies and ensuring compliant processes are communicated to management and employees; employee relations; full-cycle recruiting; record keeping; exit interviews and administrative duties.

Establishes standardized recruiting and hiring process to attract and maintain a workforce of the highest level

Manages the maintenance of Company HRIS systems

Leads company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal reporting requirements including any related to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), worker compensation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and so forth. Maintains minimal company exposure to lawsuits

Directs the preparation of information requested or required for compliance with laws. Approves all information submitted

Acts as a first point of contact for hiring managers and provide support in regards to employee questions, inquiries and complaints in a timely manner. Provides prompt and appropriate guidance under the management of the department director.

Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field;

Minimum Five (5) years of human resources management experience in a mid-size and complex organization

Minimum Three (3) years in a management/leadership role within Human Resources

Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; previous (human Resources Information System (HRIS) experience.

Excellent verbal & written communication, as well as excellent customer service skills

Ability to work Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
