HR Assistant

The HR Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team. The individual should be flexible, motivated, and proactive.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to employees and route employee questions to the appropriate teams
  • Conduct pre-employment background checks
  • Assist Recruiters with the recruiting process
  • Handle correspondence such as employment verifications
  • Generate monthly employee reports
  • Create and maintain employee personnel files
  • Ongoing maintenance of Learning Management System – update user information, create new courses and enrollments, etc.
  • Assist with the planning and development of training plans, presentations, materials, and programs
  • Assist with new departmental training initiatives
  • Create training schedules for new hires and assist with scheduling
  • Assist with the Company newsletter
  • Special tasks/projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ year of HR or Administrative experience required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have great listening skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work with all levels of employees
  • Strong interpersonal skills; people oriented; customer service savvy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong facilitation and public speaking skills
  • Strong ability to adapt to changing needs of the organization
  • Strong MS Office skills – specifically Excel and Outlook
