House Manager/Personal Assistant

House Manager for Estate Coral Gables

Dynamic position to supervise the smooth daily operation of support services for household with multiple properties and vessels. Position will oversee and perform clerical/administrative support tasks, establish work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness, manage the scheduling and supervision of various household staff and contract workers. Position will manage staff for multiple homes and vessels both domestic and international. The position will also require the skills to manage various projects (such as wardrobe, detail cleaning, interior purchasing, event planning etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST have 5+ years of experience in management of multiple people
  • Ability to manage one’s self and multiple projects simultaneously is essential
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to deal with changes quickly, efficiently and without complaint
  • Ability to work overtime as needed both with and without sufficient advance notice
  • Must demonstrate strengths in a challenging work environment, including the ability to negotiate and communicate well orally and in writing, and the willingness to accept a hands-on role in all aspects of the estate’s operations

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once and ensure proper follow through as needed

  • A high level of personal accountability, integrity and ethical standards * Effective ability to work well under pressure
  • Must be non-judgmental, opinionated and approachable
  • Must be Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking and comprehension) bi-lingual a plus+
  • Access to reliable transportation Multiple times throughout the day
  • Must be legal to work in the United States
  • Has the ability to travel domestic and international for months or weeks at a time

Other Considerations: This is a full-time, year-round, long-term position that offers a competitive salary and benefits. Work hours average 60 hours a week. However, service may be required on an as needed basis.

Compensation: $80 – $90k per year
