Graphic Designer (CMG-SD)

Our Capital Markets, San Diego Office team is looking for a Graphic Designer with administrative capabilities. The primary function of the Designer is supporting the San Diego Office Investment Sales team with their marketing projects, but there will be ample opportunity for professional growth through independent assignments. Primary responsibilities are around new business development support, marketing campaigns, and enhancing the Jones Lang LaSalle brand in the San Diego market as well as performing minor administrative tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Create look and feel of marketing campaigns including color pallet, logos, materials and inspired ideas to create positive positioning and innovative ideas
• Produce visual marketing materials, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, boards, proposals, new business presentations, invitations and banners
• Lay out research-based information, such as market reports and newsletters; statistical graphs, charts and tables; white papers and PowerPoint slides
• Create branded e-mails and update (or create) web sites
• Perform general marketing and design tasks, as needed
• Act as steward of the firm’s brand and visual graphic standards
• Provide exceptional client service, taking on full ownership of assigned projects
• Coordinate with third-party vendors
• Data entry into accounting, T&E systems, and calendaring

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Art or Design/Visual Communications
• 3-5 years of prior graphic design experience preferred
• Dreamweaver and HTML experience a plus.
• Social media and Weebly experience a plus
• Video experience a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Design skills using the Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite are a must.
• Print production knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Works effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven, repetitive environment and consistently demonstrates a high level of organizational skill and customer service.
• Ability to multitask.
• Attention to detail.
• Pride and ownership in work product.
