Helix Leisure has a network of six full offices around the world in Singapore, Perth, Bath (UK), Dallas, Jakarta, and Dubai to provide on-the-ground support to its global customer base. We supply the market with a full range of products and services consisting of debit card systems, POS and redemption solutions, customer loyalty, booking and ticketing, electronic locker operations, and a full range of amusement and prize-vending games.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Graphic Designer is responsible for evaluating artwork, generating customer designs and preparing press-ready files for production. This position performs a variety of tasks involved with transforming text and pictures into a finished product. This position also interacts frequently with other departments as well as external clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Possess expert understanding of multimedia design and experience building files for both print and digital
  • Evaluate artwork to determine if it meets production specifications
  • Communicate with Sales and Cards staff regarding usability of artwork
  • Design and arrange spec layouts for client approval
  • Communicate with clients when necessary to determine artwork requirements
  • Evaluate time spent on projects and advise on fees if required
  • Prepare files for production, including trapping and color adjustment
  • Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products
  • Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
  • Perform other duties as requested

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven graphic designing experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proficiency in the use of Macintosh computers, as well as electronic publishing systems
  • Proficiency in the use of desktop publishing and graphic software, including but not limited to, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat. Requires the ability to manipulate or modify industry standard file formats such as EPS, TIFF and JPEG
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interpret oral and written instructions
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate depth perception, color separation and saturation
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines
