Graphic Designer

The graphic designer is responsible for creation of client marketing and print materials. Candidate must be detail-oriented with experience in print production, prepress procedures and color management. Must be able to handle multiple creative projects and perform within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Design marketing materials such as brochures, ads, newsletters, flyers, direct mail postcards, posters, signs, etc. based on clients needs.
• Manage projects from concept through edits and final production.
• Preflight client files thoroughly and prep files for digital print or press production.
• Apply skills in typography, illustration and color to develop high-quality promotional pieces.
• Produce client projects using high-speed digital equipment to include loading the equipment with appropriate paper stocks according to job specifications, coordinate the jobs through printer software and view/approve print while running to ensure high-quality, accurate results.
• Merge variable data information into digital printing templates. Output according to USPS standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven graphic design experience with working knowledge of print production
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Experience in profiles and color management
• Strong skills in design, color, graphic standards and effective branding
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communicator
• Positive and energetic personality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Must reside in the St. Louis metro area
