Graphic Designer

Do you have a passion for the restaurant industry? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, every changing environment? Johnny Rockets is seeking to fill a new role of a Graphic Designer to join our team. The position is responsible for creating marketing materials (traditional, social/digital, multi-media) to promote Johnny Rockets both on a national and local level. It is also responsible to design sales materials and graphic needs used by franchise sales department. This position accepts directions and visual concepts from marketing and sales teams.

JOB DUTIES

Responsible for gathering information and data needed to create the materials

Understands the directions of the layouts

Plan the implementation process including setting up deadlines

Prepare a rough concept for approval

Accepts feedback and make edits as requested

Create final design and produce the materials

Support the marketing team with special projects

Other duties may be assigned as needed

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in and understanding of advertising and marketing to general restaurant audience.

Experience with brand and communications design and implementation

Proficiency with MS Office

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Have the ability to be flexible and to work well with a variety of personalities

Can take direction from written, spoken or sketched ideas and convert them into print-ready layouts and other designs.

Open to feedback

Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational skills

Ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
