Graduate Program Associate

This position supports the graduate program coordinators and non-credit training program coordinators with program administration to include communicating with accepted students, scheduling interviews, maintaining and updating student files, serving as liaison with admissions support staff, registering students, preparing and processing contracts for presenters and with organizational entities, preparing invoices, preparing handbooks and program materials, and preparing for program orientations.


This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week on Mercer’s Atlanta campus and is eligible for partial benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience, to include working with databases and customer service, are required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. In addition, proficiency in word processing and data processing software are required. A bachelor’s degree is desirable. Additionally, familiarity with college admissions, prior experience working in a higher education environment and/or experience working with nontraditional students or training programs are desirable.
