Uber’s positive impact is tangible in the communities we operate in, and that drives us to keep moving forward.Service Desk Global IT Logistics and Mobility LeadAs a Lead on UBER’s Service Desk Team, you will lead a cross functional concierge team supporting UBER’s Mobility service for employees across the globe. This position is highly visible and requires working with all levels of UBER’s Information Technology team and our business partners. As a lead you will need to understand UBER’s business goals, growth plans and future direction and drive implementation while developing excellent team policies and procedures aimed towards those objectives.

What you’ll be doing: Mobility strategy collaboration and operational implementation: Work with Service Desk Leadership to define global / regional / sub regional mobility strategies by providing strategic and operational inputs.Form, lead and facilitate cross-functional teams as applicable to execute the mobility strategies defined and collaborate with internal customers to ensure effective implementationLeads the operational mobility processes within the assigned spend – including working with procurement on selection, contracting and negotiation for mobile devices and service that have suppliers with global, regional or sub regional capabilities.Continually evaluate and monitor market conditions and adjust mobility strategies accordingly.Perform regular spend, calling/data usage, and vendor performance analyses Identify cost savings opportunities and work with Procurement on negotiationsSeeks and demonstrates opportunities across UBER divisions and markets as per identified and agreed mobility strategies.Provide a monthly report on activities, mobility initiatives, vendor analysis and issue resolution to Tech Services Leadership.Develop supplier relationships in line with business requirements. In particular, liaise when appropriate with critical or strategic suppliers to represent UBER interests and leverage our global presence.Review supplier performance in a collaborative way with key internal partners and on a regular basis to ensure compliance with terms and conditions of contract and where necessary take appropriate action to solve performance issues and meet the business objectives.Here are the kinds of skills we’re looking for: Minimum of 5 -10 years corporate mobility sourcing/strategy management experience.Experience in high-volume support request environments across every global region.Experience with using data for demand modeling and forecasting.Experience with planning in a Global environment.Experience in inventory control methods, inventory expiration requirements, and achieving metrics.Ability to negotiate complex contracts with providersAbility to solve practical problems and interpret and communicate complex issues in a manner that allows maximum product flexibility without compromising quality standard.Demonstrated creativity and the ability to think creatively. Capacity to define and communicate planning and procurement challenges and provide guidance to top management in developing and implementing positive and proactive solutions. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.Possess a strong commitment to things we value.US and International travel will be required at < 25%.PerksEmployees are given Uber credits every month.The rare opportunity to change the way the world moves.
